Jet Logistics Inc. Earns CARB Certification for U.S. DoD Operations

Charlotte, NC – Jet Logistics Inc. announced a major milestone in its burgeoning government operations program; the North Carolina-based FAA Part 135 air carrier recently secured certification from the Commercial Aviation Review Board (CARB) to conduct flight operations as an approved air carrier for the United States Department of Defense (DoD).

The Jet Logistics corporate group owns/operates Part 135 Air Carrier and 145 Certified Repair Station (Jet Logistics Technical Services) certificates which provide various aviation services including but not limited to on-demand passenger charter, professional aircraft management, air ambulance, GovOps and aircraft maintenance for both domestic and international flight operations.

"The commitment and resources required to pass the CARB audit and receive subsequent contract award for DoD operations are significant. They also represent an independent acknowledgement of the continuous commitment by Jet Logistics, Jet Logistics Technical Services and our staff to improving safety, operational and maintenance standards for all of our clients, whether government or commercial," commented Founder/President W. Ashley Smith, Jr.

The company's DoD approval adds to a growing list of accreditations for its GovOps program which include audits of both its FAA Air Carrier and 145CRS operations: NASA air carrier approval, GSA Schedule Contract award and BPA contract awards for various other federal agencies.
